2012_HERMITAGE AMSTERDAM Gauguin, Bonnard, Denis. A Russian taste for French Art

The heart of this exhibition was formed by a reconstruction of the 'Music Room'. In 1912 French painter Denis created panels for this room in the Moscovian villa of art-collector Morozov. All walls in the exhibition were painted dark blue. It brought coherence to the mixture of styles of the various paintings and their coloring came out stronger.
