2009_STEDELIJK MUSEUM / Avant Gardes'20/'60

Intimacy was created for the objects of the 20's by putting a big black carpet in the middle of the space, which refers to the black squares of Malevich. Treated like sculptures, chairs on platforms were hung next to paintings. The 60's room was interpreted as a white gallery space with lots of daylight. Big titles in different typefaces gave subtle context to the objects in both chambers.
