2007_RIJKSMUSEUM at the NIEUWE KERK AMSTERDAM / Hero
Exhibition on Dutch heroes and the way they are honoured, now and in the past. In the centre of the church an orange field lied flanked by 2 grandstands. The centre circle was a golden medal as signposting. The public entered the exhibition through a gate in the grandstand. 21 panels leaned against the pillars of the church. Each of these 'modern monuments' treated a topic. The highest panel measured 13 meters. Moreover there was a 'table of miniature statues', a 'gallery of busts' and a 'flower sea' at the sepulchre of Michiel de Ruyter. graphic design: Mariëlle Tolenaar
