2011_VAN GOGH MUSEUM / Van Gogh In Antwerp and Paris

93 paintings from this period have been studied and (literally) have been held under the microscope. In the exhibition 47 works were shown, together with the acquired knowledge. This was made understandable by showing prints of backsides, X-ray and infrared images, blow-ups of a detail and even stuffed birds. The green part of the wall is for the art, the white part for explanation. Themes were translated into questions to the audience. The public could study the catalogues at the big tables.
