Marcel Schmalgemeijer (1968)

1987 - 1993 / DESIGN ACADEMY EINDHOVEN / specialization: Public Space.

1994 - 1998 / Assistant to the scenographer and lighting designer Jan Versweyveld.

1998 - 2008 / Independent designer for theater and events.

2002 / Winner of CHARLOTTE KÖHLER PRIZE.

2004 - 2013 / Exhibition designs for a.o. the VAN GOGH MUSEUM, HERMITAGE Amsterdam and STEDELIJK Museum Amsterdam.

2009 / Design of Pop up shop for NEW YORK 400 festival.

2011 / Exhibition design for the ATENEUM Helsinki.

2011 / Lecture and workshop at STRELKA in Moscow.
